This concept of Star Guardian LeBlanc was created with League of Legends’ stylized look in mind, focusing on clear shapes, clean magic reads, and strong theme identity.
It was a chance for me to explore a lighter, more magical direction while still keeping the character’s elegance and sharp personality.
Designing a Star Guardian version of LeBlanc was especially fun, because she naturally fits both the mysterious and heroic sides of the theme. The challenge was combining her usual sleek silhouette with the soft, glowing shapes of the Star Guardian aesthetic, without losing her confident, commanding presence. I tested different wing shapes, capes, staff designs, and color palettes until the look felt readable and cohesive.
Working through a full workflow helped me a lot: early silhouettes, style tests, color variants, weapon concepts, a detailed turnaround, and in-game readability. Each stage pushed the design further and made the final result feel more polished and intentional.
My favorite part was exploring the magical materials: soft star-white fabrics, radiant gold edges, and the subtle green glow inspired by her familiar. Star Guardian projects are great for practicing mood through color and light, and this one really helped me improve clarity and visual flow.
Overall, this project strengthened my design process and gave me experience working within a bright, magical theme while keeping champion identity intact. I’m happy with how the final result turned out.
